Madison Beer is stepping into a defining moment of her career. Her highly anticipated third studio album, Locket, arrives tonight via Epic Records and Sing It Loud! Records, closing a carefully paced rollout that has quietly built into one of early 2026’s most anticipated pop releases. Following the critical acclaim and Grammy nomination earned by Silence Between Songs, expectations are high—not just for a commercial rebound, but for a creative statement that reflects where Beer stands now.
Momentum peaked earlier this week when Beer made her debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. On January 13, she delivered a poised, emotionally charged performance of “Bad Enough,” the album’s final preview track, which drops as an official single alongside Locket, complete with a music video. As fans count down to midnight, here is everything you need to know about Locket.
A Clear Return to Pop
At its core, Locket is a pop record. Beer has been open about the album representing a stylistic reset after the restrained, introspective tone of Silence Between Songs. Speaking recently with Vogue Italia, the 26-year-old artist described the project as a deliberate move toward freedom and instinct rather than structure. She explained that this time, the process felt lighter. The songs were written without pressure to fit a narrative arc, allowing melody and emotion to lead.
That creative shift is reflected in the album’s tight structure. Locket spans just 11 tracks, making it her shortest album to date. By comparison, her debut Life Support featured 17 songs, while Silence Between Songs ran 14. Beer has said the decision was intentional. She wanted each track to hold weight and avoid the fatigue that can come with longer tracklists. The result is an album designed for replay, where every song has room to breathe and connect.
Singles That Set the Tone
The album’s singles have already laid a strong foundation. Lead single “Make You Mine,” released in February 2024, became one of Beer’s most successful tracks to date. The song broke into the top 40 in multiple territories and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording, marking her second career nod from the Recording Academy.
Follow-up single “Yes Baby,” released in September 2025, reinforced her growing presence in dance-pop spaces, charting across several Billboard Dance rankings and peaking at No. 63 in the UK. The rollout continued with “Bittersweet,” unveiled in October 2025. Co-directed by Beer alongside Aerin Moreno, the accompanying video starred actor Sean Kaufman and showcased her signature attention to visual and cinematic storytelling. The track steadily gained traction, eventually debuting at No. 98 on the Billboard Hot 100—Beer’s first-ever entry on the chart.
