Mariah Carey has officially lifted the curtain on the full tracklist for her long-awaited sixteenth studio album, Here For It All, set to arrive September 26. The project marks her first full-length record in seven years, following 2018’s Caution.

The album features eleven tracks, including previously released singles “Type Dangerous” and “Sugar Sweet.” Among the highlights are “Play This Song,” a collaboration with Anderson .Paak, and “Jesus I Do,” featuring the legendary gospel group The Clark Sisters.

Carey first sparked speculation about the album earlier this summer when she released “Type Dangerous,” her first new single since Caution. Teasers followed across social media, including a video montage of past interviews and a cryptic file labeled “T:D_MC16.mp3.” On July 21, she confirmed the news by unveiling the album’s title, artwork, and release date—building anticipation for what she has called a “new era.

The release date of September 26 is particularly symbolic. It falls exactly 30 years after Carey’s landmark 1995 album Daydream, which produced enduring hits like “Fantasy” and “One Sweet Day.” In recent years, the pop icon has kept fans engaged with projects like the 2020 compilation The Rarities and her memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey, but Here For It All marks her true return to the album format.
