Miley Cyrus’ Bass Persuades is projected to open with approximately 46,000 units in the U.S., according to early estimates from Nora Music, putting the album on track for a potential Top 10 debut on next week’s Billboard 200. The figure would give Cyrus another major chart entry while extending one of the longest Top 10 streaks of her career.
If the projection holds, Bass Persuades would become Miley’s 16th album to debut inside the Billboard 200’s Top 10. Her previous two studio albums, Something Beautiful and Endless Summer Vacation, opened at No. 4 and No. 3, respectively, continuing a run that has kept her among the most consistent charting pop artists of her generation.

A Top 10 placement for Bass Persuades would also extend an almost two-decade streak for Miley Cyrus. Her last album to miss the Top 10 was the Hannah Montana: Forever soundtrack, which peaked at No. 11 in 2010. Excluding her Hannah Montana projects, every Cyrus album has reached the Top 5 of the Billboard 200.
The projected debut arrives after Bass Persuades opened with 6.2 million Spotify streams during its first full day on September 18. That total trails the first-day streaming performances of her two most recent studio albums, with Endless Summer Vacation generating roughly 30 million streams in its first day in March 2023 and Something Beautiful reaching 8.5 million in May 2025.
The album’s individual tracks have also appeared on Spotify’s Daily Global chart. “Let’s Get Married” debuted at No. 121 with 1.422 million release-day streams, while “Bass Persuades” re-entered the chart at No. 179 with 1.233 million. The title track had previously debuted and peaked at No. 23 with 2.46 million streams following its September 3 release.
Bass Persuades is Miley Cyrus’ 10th studio album, her first project for Atlantic Records after leaving Columbia Records and the first to be promoted under the mononym MILEY. The 10-track album moves through dance-pop, romantic pop and atmospheric production, with Cyrus connecting the project to her relationship with fiancé Maxx Morando and her evolving sense of self-love. The album’s lead single has already delivered another career milestone. “Bass Persuades” reached No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Cyrus’ 25th Top 40 entry on the chart.
Miley Cyrus is now heading toward the next stage of the album campaign with her first-ever Hollywood Bowl performances on October 16 and October 18, with Model/Actriz opening both shows.
Elsewhere, beabadoobee’s Pylon is projected to surpass 30,000 units in its opening week, while Carly Rae Jepsen’s Day And Night is tracking toward approximately 21,000.
