Niall Horan has set March 20, 2026, as the release date for his new single, “Dinner Party,” marking the first official preview of his forthcoming fourth studio album. The singer shared the news directly with fans, writing in a candid message: “i’m so happy and excited to tell you my new single ‘dinner party’ is coming out march 20. presave it now at niallhoran.com.”
He offered rare personal context about the track’s meaning. “this song is about a really happy and big moment in my life. an evening at a simple dinner party that changed the course of my life,” Horan explained. “after writing the song, the words ‘dinner party’ became the nucleus for the rest of the record. that once in a lifetime moment that i am grateful for and for everything that came after that night.”
The single arrives shortly after Horan confirmed that his fourth solo album is complete. Last week, he posted a brief but definitive update on Instagram: “Album is DONE.” No title or release date accompanied the message, but the timing of “Dinner Party” suggests the rollout is now underway.
The project will follow 2023’s The Show, released via Capitol Records. Led by “Heaven” and later “Meltdown,” The Show debuted at No. 1 in the United Kingdom. In the United States, it opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and topped both the Top Album Sales and Vinyl Albums charts in its first week.
A deluxe edition, The Show: The Encore, extended the album’s momentum later in 2023. Horan supported the record with a 50-date international tour across Europe, Oceania and North America.
Since then, Horan has maintained a relatively low profile, focusing on writing and recording. Earlier this year, he appeared on Myles Smith’s single “Drive Safe.”
