Noah Kahan has officially opened his The Great Divide era with major chart force in Australia. The singer-songwriter’s fourth studio album debuts at No. 1 on both the ARIA Albums Chart and ARIA Vinyl Chart this week, extending the momentum he built through Stick Season’s blockbuster global rise.
Stick Season previously spent three weeks at No. 1 in early 2024, and its staying power remains evident, sitting at No. 2 on this week’s ARIA On Replay Albums Chart even as The Great Divide takes over the summit.
The album’s impact stretches far beyond one headline debut. On the ARIA Singles Chart, “Doors” launches at No. 16, becoming one of the week’s biggest new entries. Meanwhile, title track “The Great Divide” surges from No. 53 to No. 20 after previously peaking at No. 13 earlier this year, while “Porch Light” climbs from No. 46 to a new peak of No. 27. Eight additional album tracks also enter the top 50.
Elsewhere on the albums chart, Foo Fighters secure another major entry with Your Favourite Toy debuting at No. 3. The band’s 12th studio album continues one of rock’s most consistent commercial streaks, with all 12 studio projects now reaching the ARIA top 10.
Further down the chart, the soundtrack to the new Michael Jackson biopic opens at No. 17, while Jackson’s catalog experiences a parallel resurgence. Thriller reclaims No. 1 on the ARIA On Replay Albums Chart, and Bad rises to No. 3.
On the ARIA Singles Chart, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s “Rein Me In” returns to No. 1 for a third non-consecutive week.
