Olivia Dean returns to the summit of the ARIA Albums Chart as her acclaimed record The Art Of Loving climbs back to No. 1, extending its remarkable chart run. The album has now accumulated 10 non-consecutive weeks at the top across the past five months.
On the ARIA Singles Chart, the story remains just as dominant. Dean’s breakout hit “Man I Need” holds firm at No. 1 for a 16th consecutive week. With this milestone, the song now stands as the third longest-running No. 1 single in the history of the Australian charts.
Elsewhere on the albums chart, Bruno Mars enters at No. 2 with his fourth solo studio album The Romantic. The debut continues a long-standing chart relationship between Mars and Australian listeners. His first album Doo-Wops & Hooligans reached No. 2 in 2010, while Unorthodox Jukebox spent three weeks at No. 1 in 2013. In 2016, 24K Magic peaked at No. 3. His collaborative project with Anderson .Paak, An Evening With Silk Sonic, reached No. 4 in 2021.
Momentum around The Romantic is also reflected on the singles chart. The album’s lead single “I Just Might” rises from No. 14 to a new peak of No. 8 this week, while “Risk It All” debuts at No. 13.
Further down the albums chart, Mitski debuts strongly at No. 3 with her eighth studio album Nothing’s About to Happen to Me.
British virtual band Gorillaz also make a notable return, entering at No. 4 with their ninth studio album The Mountain.
