Phoebe Bridgers is officially entering a new album era. On June 24, the singer-songwriter announced Lost Weekend, her long-awaited third studio album, set for release on August 14, while also confirming that its lead single will arrive tomorrow, June 25.

The announcement marks Bridgers’ first full-length project since Punisher, released in June 2020. Fans can now pre-save and pre-order the 16-track LP, which arrives just days after she unveiled plans for the extensive Lost Tour.

While Bridgers has remained highly visible through collaborations, side projects, soundtrack contributions, and live appearances over the past several years, Lost Weekend represents her first standalone album campaign in more than six years. The gap has only heightened anticipation among fans who have been waiting for a follow-up to Punisher, the critically acclaimed record that earned three Grammy nominations and peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard 200.

Released on June 18, 2020, Punisher became a defining project of its era. The album featured songs including “Garden Song,” “Kyoto,” “ICU,” “Savior Complex,” and the epic closing track “I Know the End,” helping establish Bridgers as one of the most influential singer-songwriters of her generation. Its success also expanded her audience far beyond indie circles and laid the groundwork for years of growing demand.

That demand is already evident in the response to her newly announced tour. The Lost Tour launches September 14 in Indianapolis and will travel across North America and Europe through December 12. Most dates have already sold out.

Support on select dates will come from Alex G, former Black Country, New Road vocalist Isaac Wood, and Anaïs.

Details about the album’s sound and tracklist remain under wraps for now, aside from confirmation that Lost Weekend contains 16 songs.
