Playboi Carti is officially back on the road. After years of postponements, cancellations, and anticipation, the rapper kicks off his Antagonist 2.0 Tour tonight (October 3) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The arena run, spanning 31 dates across the United States, will wrap up on December 1 in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.
The tour supports Carti’s third studio album, Music (released March 14), which marked his first full-length release since Whole Lotta Red (2020). The record was a commercial triumph, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 298,000 album-equivalent units, making it his fastest-selling project to date. Featuring 30 tracks, Music includes collaborations with Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Jhené Aiko, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Skepta, Ty Dolla Sign, and Young Thug. A deluxe edition, Music – Sorry 4 Da Wait, added four extra songs to the lineup.

A Long Road to the Stage
The Antagonist Tour was originally announced in July 2023 as a massive global run with Carti’s Opium label collective — Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang — all billed as supporting acts. But multiple delays pushed the launch back, and both the North American and European legs were eventually scrapped.
Instead, Carti spent part of 2024 and 2025 opening for The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which not only kept him in front of arenas but also built anticipation for his own headline return. That partnership culminated in a joint performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
In September 2025, Carti expanded his tour to 31 shows, adding three extra Texas dates due to overwhelming demand. Alongside his Opium signees Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang, rising affiliate ApolloRed1 will also provide support across the trek.
What Fans Can Expect
Carti is known for turning his live shows into chaotic, high-energy spectacles — with mosh pits, laser-heavy visuals, and unpredictable setlists. “Tonight’s show will include pyro, flames, cryo, extremely loud sounds, and intense haze,” reads a poster at the entrance of the Delta Center, where the first show will be held. Fans can expect a mix of brand-new tracks from Music and cult favorites from Die Lit and Whole Lotta Red.
