The announcement comes after Carti’s recent success with Music, his third studio album, released on March 14, 2025, via AWGE and Interscope Records. The album marked his long-awaited return since his 2020 album, Whole Lotta Red. Music features 30 tracks with guest appearances from artists including Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Jhené Aiko, Skepta, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla Sign, and Young Thug. A deluxe edition, titled Music – Sorry 4 Da Wait, added four additional tracks, enhancing the listening experience.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 298,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, becoming Carti’s second number-one album and his fastest-selling release to date.
Prior to announcing his own tour, Carti served as an opening act for the final North American leg of The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which wraps on September 3, 2025. The duo also performed together at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
