Last night, Taylor Swift returned to the stage with her history-making Eras Tour. After a memorable summer touring Europe, which concluded in August with five impressive concerts at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, the singer made her way back to the United States. The pop superstar kicked off the final leg of the tour with the first of three shows at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. In true Taylor Swift fashion, the show was packed with surprises, including new outfits and a special guest. Here’s everything that went down during night one of the Eras Tour in Miami.

First, the setlist remained unchanged. Taylor performed a total of 44 songs spanning her entire discography, including a set from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. The night was opened by Gracie Abrams, who returned as the supporting act for this final North American leg. Fresh off the release of the deluxe edition of The Secret of Us, the 25-year-old singer performed nine tracks, including viral hits “I Love You, I’m Sorry” and “Close to You.”
When Taylor took the stage, she immediately left fans in awe by debuting a new orange outfit during the Lover set. “You’re making me feel like tonight I get to play a sold-out show for 61,000 people in Miami,” she exclaimed, before performing hits like “Cruel Summer” and “Lover.” Another surprise came during the Fearless set when Taylor debuted another new outfit. Fans’ excitement peaked when the Reputation era set began. It’s no secret that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is in the works, and Swifties are eagerly awaiting the new version of one of Taylor’s most beloved albums. The Grammy-winning star ignited the crowd when she took the stage in a brand new black-and-gold outfit. While many expected an announcement, it hasn’t arrived yet, so patience is still required.
As the night progressed, Taylor had another surprise in store. During The Tortured Poets Department set, she brought out Florence Welch to perform their song “Florida!!!.” Then, when it came time for the Surprise Song clock, Taylor debuted yet another new dress. The first surprise song of this final leg was a mashup of “Tim McGraw” and “Timeless,” followed by a mix of “This Is Me Trying” and “Daylight.” The pop superstar closed the night with the Midnights set.
