Taylor Swift has released a new remix of her chart-dominating single “The Fate of Ophelia,” the lead single from The Life of a Showgirl, continuing to strategically expand one of the most successful eras of her career. The latest version, reworked by electronic producers TELYKAST & XanTz, is available exclusively on iTunes, where fans can purchase the track for $1.50.
The release arrives as “The Fate of Ophelia” reaches a historic milestone on the Billboard Hot 100. The original version has now spent 10 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1, marking Swift’s longest-running chart-topper to date. The achievement pushes past her previous personal records, including “Anti-Hero,” which led the chart for eight weeks, and “Blank Space,” which held the summit for seven. With momentum still strong, the new remix appears designed to keep the song firmly in the spotlight and extend its already remarkable chart run.
This is not the first alternate version of “The Fate of Ophelia.” Earlier, Swift unveiled “The Fate of Ophelia (The Chainsmokers Remix),” initially released as a digital-exclusive before later expanding to streaming platforms. That version leaned more heavily into crossover pop and festival-ready production, helping the single maintain traction.
