As tradition dictates, every month InMusic selects sixteen new songs and allows fans to vote for their favorites through a poll on Instagram. July not only brought the summer heat but also several standout releases. Leading the pack is Eminem’s comeback album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grâce), widely hailed as one of the best rap releases of the year. The rap scene also saw Ice Spice drop her highly anticipated debut album, Y2K!, featuring collaborations with Travis Scott and Central Cee. However, the track that truly stole the spotlight was Lana Del Rey and Quavo’s collaboration, “Tough,” which was voted as the best song of the month, surpassing Katy Perry’s “Woman’s World.” But the question remains—will it be the song with the most total votes?
Additionally, July saw new music from Madison Beer, Kesha, Post Malone, and Jade, rounding out a month filled with diverse and exciting releases.
