On November 8th, the Recording Academy revealed the nominees for the 2025 Grammy Awards. As expected, artists like Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar, and Taylor Swift received multiple nominations. Queen Bey particularly stood out, securing eleven nods to become the most-nominated artist at the 2025 Grammys. While fans celebrated many artists’ achievements, others expressed frustration over notable snubs. Each year, some top artists receive no nominations despite their commercial or critical success. Here are the biggest snubs of the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.

Dua Lipa
Fans were disappointed to see Dua Lipa excluded from nominations. Her third album, Radical Optimism, released a few months ago, produced hits like “Houdini” and “Training Season” and topped charts in various countries, including the UK. Despite peaking at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200, the album failed to secure any Grammy nods.
Tate McRae
Tate McRae was ineligible for the Best New Artist category, as she had already been submitted for it in prior years. Additionally, her global hit “Greedy” missed the eligibility period by just one day, as it was released on September 15. Fans had hoped her sophomore album, Think Later, would at least earn a pop category nod, but it received no nominations.
Tyla
Tyla, who won a Grammy last year for Best African Music Performance with “Water,” released her acclaimed self-titled debut album in March, winning three South African Music Awards. However, it was overlooked in the Global categories, a snub that surprised many fans.
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande’s seventh album, Eternal Sunshine, is one of the year’s top-selling projects and includes two No. 1 hits: “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love).” Although she received three nominations in Pop and Dance categories, fans were disappointed that she didn’t land a nomination in major categories.
Rap Albums
Notably, the Album of the Year category featured no rap albums, despite acclaimed releases from Megan Thee Stallion (Megan), Metro Boomin and Future (We Don’t Trust You), 21 Savage (American Dream), and Eminem (The Death of Slim Shady).
LISA
BLACKPINK’s Lisa had a banner year, with hits like “Rockstar,” “New Woman,” and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me).” Many expected her to appear in the Best New Artist category, but she was overlooked, leaving K-pop fans disappointed.
Jungkook
Jungkook also went unrecognized despite releasing his debut solo album, Golden, which includes popular singles “Seven,” “3D,” and “Standing Next to You.” The album has been widely praised in the pop music community.
Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 received acclaim, and her tour became the highest-grossing for a female rapper. Despite her success, the album didn’t receive any nominations.
The Eras Tour Movie
Lastly, Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour Movie—which earned over $267 million, making it the highest-grossing concert film ever—was a fan favorite. However, it did not receive a nomination for Best Music Film.
