Zara Larsson turned a rainy Friday afternoon into one of Lollapalooza 2026’s brightest moments, delivering a high-energy performance at Chicago’s Grant Park on July 31. Following a weather-related schedule change caused by Lil Uzi Vert’s canceled appearance, the Swedish pop star took over the T-Mobile Stage with a hit-filled set.
Originally slated for an earlier slot, Zara Larsson’s performance was pushed to approximately 6:20-7:20 p.m. CT after festival organizers adjusted the schedule. Rather than slowing the momentum, the delay only heightened anticipation as thousands gathered for a show packed with choreography, live vocals and festival-sized production.
Opening with the shimmering title track “Midnight Sun,” Larsson immediately embraced the atmosphere with visuals of glowing skies and ocean waves filling the giant screens behind her. Supported by a team of dancers, she leaned heavily into material from her latest album Midnight Sun while balancing the performance with career-defining hits that had the crowd singing every word.
The setlist featured fan favorites including “Can’t Tame Her,” “Pretty Ugly,” “Wow,” “Ain’t My Fault,” “Never Forget You,” “Lush Life” and “Symphony.” She also squeezed in a shortened performance of “She Did It Again,” her collaboration with Tyla.
The appearance comes amid an extensive touring cycle. Larsson completed the first North American leg of her Midnight Sun Tour in April before embarking on a busy summer festival schedule across Europe and North America. Later this year, she will return for a second North American leg as the global trek continues through November 1, 2026, when it concludes in Bangkok.
