Madison Beer is giving fans a closer look at the creative world behind her latest album. To mark the one-month anniversary of Locket, the 26-year-old singer-songwriter has released a seven-minute behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling the making of the record.
The mini-documentary is now streaming on Beer’s official YouTube channel. Intimate and studio-focused, the short film captures the recording process, vocal sessions, and candid in-between moments that shaped the album.
Beer announced the release in a personal Instagram post, writing: “locket is one month old today x thank u for listening. to celebrate i’ve released a mini doc on my youtube with footage from the making of the album, hope u enjoy xx.”
Released on January 16 through Epic Records and Sing It Loud, Locket marks Beer’s third studio album and her first full-length project since 2023’s Silence Between Songs.
The album arrived following a steady rollout of singles, including “Make You Mine,” “Yes Baby,” and “Bittersweet.” “Bad Enough” was released alongside the full project and quickly gained traction.
Commercially, Locket delivered several career milestones. It debuted inside the top ten in the United Kingdom and in several European countries. In the United States, the album entered the Billboard 200 at No. 10, becoming Beer’s first top-ten album on the chart.
The documentary arrives as Beer prepares to take the material on the road for the Locket Tour. The 2026 run starts in May and will see the Grammy-nominated singer perform across North America and Europe, with support from Isabel LaRosa, Thủy, and Lulu Simon.
