Cardi B is giving fans a first glimpse into what comes next. The rapper shared a 44-second beachside video teasing unreleased music while enjoying a tropical getaway in the Dominican Republic, adding more anticipation around her upcoming third studio album.
The visual opens with Cardi embracing full summer energy, wearing a Dominican Republic flag bikini while posing across different oceanfront locations. With long black hair, bold jewelry, visible tattoos, and a series of confident shots on white sand, a waterfront hammock, and a wooden pier, the clip blends vacation aesthetics with a subtle preview of her next musical chapter.
Although Cardi did not reveal the title or release date of the song featured in the video, the teaser arrives as she continues working on new material following her first headlining arena tour. Fans quickly connected the preview to her previous comments about returning to the studio and preparing fresh solo releases as well as collaborations with other artists.
The new music tease follows Cardi’s confirmation that her third studio album, widely referred to by fans as “CB3,” is already in development. Earlier this year, the rapper addressed the project during a 14-hour bus ride to Sacramento, telling fans, “Ready? I’m ready,” before adding, “Before the year ends? Another one. Album three coming up.”
Cardi has also revealed that she is already thinking beyond her current touring chapter. During the Little Miss Drama Tour, she explained that her next tour would feature a larger production after gaining experience from her first major arena run. “On my next tour with my next album, I’m going to perform for five months… I’m going to have this s**t to the T,” she said, describing plans to create a bigger visual and live experience.
The timing of the preview comes after the success of the Little Miss Drama Tour, which supported her second studio album Am I the Drama? Released in 2025, the project marked Cardi’s long-awaited follow-up to her 2018 debut album Invasion of Privacy. The arena trek launched on February 11, 2026, in Palm Desert, California, and concluded on April 18, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, after 35 shows.
The tour became a major commercial milestone for Cardi, selling 453,000 tickets and grossing $70 million across its dates. The rapper also shared that she built a custom studio setup on her tour bus, allowing her to record new music while traveling between performances.
