Drake has delivered one of the most staggering chart weeks in Billboard Hot 100 history. Powered by the release of his triple-album drop — ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR — the Toronto superstar rewrote multiple records on the chart dated May 30, 2026, with “Janice STFU” debuting at No. 1 and leading an unprecedented 42-song takeover.
The achievement marks Drake’s 14th career Billboard Hot 100 leader, officially breaking his tie with Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 hits among solo male artists across the chart’s 67-year history. Only Mariah Carey, with 19, remains ahead among solo acts, while Drake now matches Rihanna and Taylor Swift at 14 chart-toppers.
According to Billboard, “Janice STFU” opened at the summit with 40.7 million streams, becoming Drake’s 10th No. 1 debut and extending a record no other artist has reached. Every one of his eight Hot 100 leaders this decade has entered directly at No. 1.
Yet the No. 1 debut was only part of a much bigger story.
Drake placed nine songs inside the top 10 simultaneously, bringing his all-time total to a staggering 90 — stretching his lead over Taylor Swift, who remains second with 69. Alongside “Janice STFU,” tracks including “Ran to Atlanta” featuring Future and Molly Santana (No. 2), “Whisper My Name” (No. 3), and “Shabang” (No. 4) flooded the upper reaches of the chart, fueled by massive opening-week streaming totals.
The broader scale of the takeover proved even more historic. Drake logged 42 songs on this week’s Hot 100, setting a new single-week record and surpassing Morgan Wallen’s previous mark of 37 set in May 2025. Forty of those entries were debuts, allowing Drake to become the first artist ever to surpass 400 career Hot 100 appearances, now sitting at 402.
That record-breaking week extends beyond the singles chart. Released on May 15 via OVO Sound and Republic Records, ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR debuted at Nos. 1, 2, and 3 on the Billboard 200, making Drake the first artist in history to simultaneously occupy the top three positions.
Several collaborators also benefited from the chart explosion. Future earned his 16th top 10 thanks to “Ran to Atlanta,” while Molly Santana scored her first Billboard Hot 100 top 10 in her debut week on the chart. Elsewhere, Drake added 23 more top 40 hits, extending his all-time record to 241 — far ahead of Swift’s 177.
This marks the second time Drake has controlled nine of the Hot 100’s top 10, following the debut week of Certified Lover Boy in September 2021. Only Taylor Swift has posted larger top-10 sweeps, with her complete chart takeovers during Midnights, The Tortured Poets Department, and The Life of a Showgirl.
