Drake is on the verge of another unprecedented Billboard-era milestone. According to new projections from Hits Daily Double, the Toronto superstar is expected to become the first artist in U.S. chart history to debut three albums simultaneously inside the Billboard 200 top three.
Current projections place ICEMAN at No. 1 with roughly 475,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening week, while companion releases Maid of Honour and Habibti are both aiming for No. 2 and No. 3 respectively with around 120,000 units each. If finalized, the achievement would mark one of the most dominant album debuts ever recorded by a single artist.
The historic projections arrive just days after Drake surprise-released all three projects on May 15 following the final installment of his ICEMAN livestream series. Across the albums, the rapper delivered 43 new tracks spanning melodic rap, dancehall, trap, R&B, and club-focused production, creating one of the largest commercial rollouts of his career.
Streaming numbers immediately reflected the scale of the release. Spotify confirmed that ICEMAN debuted with 140.2 million first-day streams globally, officially becoming the biggest album debut of 2026 and the second-largest hip-hop opening in the platform’s history behind only Certified Lover Boy. Drake now owns the two largest rap album debuts ever on Spotify.
Combined, ICEMAN, Maid of Honour, and Habibti generated more than 196 million global Spotify streams in a single day. Spotify also reported that Drake surpassed 250 million total streams across all credits on May 15, setting a new all-time record for the most-streamed male artist in one day.
The domination extended well beyond albums. “Make Them Cry,” the opening track from ICEMAN, launched at No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Global chart with 13.2 million streams, breaking the record for the biggest streaming day ever for a hip-hop song on the platform. Elsewhere, Drake occupied the entire top four globally with tracks including “Dust,” “Ran To Atlanta” featuring Future and Molly Santana, and “Whisper My Name.”
Apple Music reflected similar demand. Within hours of release, ICEMAN, Maid of Honour, and Habibti simultaneously controlled the entire top three of the U.S. Apple Music albums chart. Drake also became the first artist in the platform’s history to occupy all top 30 positions on the U.S. songs chart at the same time, while reportedly holding 43 of the top 50 songs overall.
