Fetty Wap has officially announced his fourth studio album Zavier, scheduled for release on March 27. The rapper revealed the project through a reflective teaser shared on Instagram, offering a rare personal glimpse into the identity behind his stage name.
In the short clip, Fetty narrates a candid monologue about fame, loss, and rediscovery, framing the album around a deeper personal perspective. “You can call me Fetty, but the people who know me call me Zavier,” he says near the end of the teaser, signaling the album’s central theme of reconnecting with his real self.
Seventeen tracks await listeners. Details remain scarce, but the announcement alone marks a significant moment for the New Jersey rapper. Zavier will be his first full-length release since the 2023 album King Zoo.
Timing adds another layer to the rollout. Earlier this year, Fetty Wap returned to public headlines following an early release from federal prison after serving more than three years of a six-year sentence. Authorities transferred him to home confinement in Philadelphia on January 7, nearly eleven months ahead of his originally projected December 2026 release date.
That shift appears to have reignited his musical output. In 2025, the rapper quietly resumed releasing music with the singles “Forever (71943509)” and “Lil Sexy,” both signaling a gradual return to recording and distribution.
Fans remember the peak clearly. Fetty Wap first dominated the charts in 2015 with “Trap Queen,” a track that climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and introduced his melodic rap style to a global audience. Follow-up hits like “679” and “My Way” soon followed, establishing one of the decade’s most distinctive breakout runs.
