Kanye West (Ye) is bringing BULLY back to U.S. stadiums. On June 15, the rapper announced three new American shows, including a Fourth of July performance in Texas and a two-night hometown stand in Chicago later this year.
The newly revealed dates will see Ye perform at the Alamodome in San Antonio on July 4 before heading to Soldier Field in Chicago for back-to-back concerts on September 3 and September 4. The announcement arrives during a particularly active period for the artist, who is preparing to release the deluxe edition of BULLY.
News of the concerts follows Ye’s recent European comeback. Earlier this month, he completed a two-night run at GelreDome Stadium in Arnhem, Netherlands, where demand reportedly exceeded 450,000 ticket requests for a venue capable of hosting approximately 40,000 fans per night. The performances also doubled as a celebration of his 49th birthday and served as some of his largest European shows in more than a decade.
Momentum around the BULLY era continues to build. Just after finishing his second Arnhem concert on June 8, Ye announced that the deluxe edition of the album will arrive on June 19. He also confirmed the release of a new single titled “GEMINI SEASON,” along with an accompanying music video.
Commercially, BULLY has already become one of Ye’s strongest-performing projects of the 2020s. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 152,000 equivalent album units in its opening week. Sixteen of its 18 tracks entered the Billboard Hot 100 upon release.
