Yeat is keeping his 2026 run moving with another surprise release. The rapper announced COCOON, a five-song EP arriving Thursday, September 17, describing the project as a “luh 5 pack” made while he has been on the road.
The compact release comes in the middle of Yeat’s LOVE/LYFE Tour, which supports his March double album ADL. After stops across Texas, Denver, the West Coast, Canada and the Northeast, the tour continues with Virginia Beach on September 17 before moving to New York on September 18, putting the EP’s arrival directly alongside his current run of live dates.

The announcement follows a particularly active stretch for the Irvine, California-born rapper. His catalog has grown rapidly since the breakthrough of 4L and Up 2 Me in 2021, followed by 2 Alive, Lyfe, Afterlyfe, 2093, Lyfestyle and Dangerous Summer. ADL continued that run this year, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
COCOON also arrives less than two weeks after Yeat released “ON NOTHING” on September 4. The song generated attention for lyrics that listeners interpreted as shots at Travis Scott, including a reference to “Flame,” Travis’ longtime nickname, following the removal of Yeat’s verse from Young Thug’s “Eaters” and another Yeat collaboration from Travis’ JACKBOYS 2 compilation.
