MINNIE celebrates her 29th birthday with i love you to the moon and back, a three-track digital EP that puts her dreamy vocals and intimate songwriting at the center. Following fellow i-dle members SOYEON and YUQI with their own solo releases, the Thai singer delivers a compact project built around affection, longing, and the quiet emotions that linger after dark.

Released on October 23, 2026, i love you to the moon and back opens with “to the moon,” a warm, atmospheric pop track that captures the gentle character of MINNIE’s voice. Soft melodies and airy production give the song an almost weightless quality, while its lyrics express a willingness to go to extraordinary lengths for someone special. Rather than relying on a dramatic vocal climax, MINNIE leans into the intimacy of the performance, allowing its emotional sincerity to carry the song.

The EP continues with “White Clouds,” an acoustic-driven ballad that shifts the mood toward distance and melancholy. Built around a delicate guitar melody, the track finds MINNIE reflecting on the ache of missing someone and wondering whether that person feels just as far away. Its minimalist arrangement leaves room for the vulnerability in her delivery. Where the opening track feels comforting and hopeful, “White Clouds” introduces a more bittersweet dimension to the EP.

Closing track “insomnia” brings those emotions into the stillness of the night. Hazy synth textures and restrained melodies establish a late-night atmosphere, while MINNIE’s soft vocals capture the restless thoughts that surface when sleep refuses to come.

i love you to the moon and back follows her official solo debut with HER, a seven-track EP issued on January 21, 2025. That project reached No. 2 on Korean charts and sold more than 245,000 copies, establishing a strong foundation for her work outside the group. Across its blend of pop and R&B, HER introduced a more personal side of MINNIE, while collaborations such as “Drive U Crazy” featuring YUQI and “Obsession” featuring WayV’s Ten expanded its palette.

The new EP also arrives amid a run of solo releases from i-dle’s members. SOYEON released her first full-length solo album, What a Wonderful Life, on September 7, while YUQI followed with her second mini-album, 27, on October 8. MINNIE’s birthday release takes a more intimate route, favoring a consistent mood over a sprawling tracklist.

Across three songs, i love you to the moon and back works best as a focused showcase for MINNIE’s gentle vocal color and atmospheric instincts, even if its concise format leaves room for further exploration. Scroll down to see the full ranking of all three tracks.
