Lollapalooza 2026 officially begins today, July 30, transforming Chicago’s Grant Park into the center of one of North America’s biggest music festivals. With more than 170 artists performing across eight stages over four days, the opening day alone features one of the festival’s strongest lineups, led by Lorde, John Summit, and Empire of the Sun.

Whether you’re attending in person or following from home, Thursday’s schedule offers nonstop performances from early afternoon through late evening.

This year’s edition runs from July 30 through August 2, bringing together global superstars, indie favorites, electronic heavyweights, hip-hop innovators, and emerging artists. Alongside the music, fans can enjoy Chicago staples at Chow Town, including Lou Malnati’s deep-dish pizza, Tacotlan’s birria tacos, and Billy Goat Tavern burgers, all within Grant Park’s iconic skyline setting.

Fans unable to attend can still catch the action live. Official festival coverage is streaming throughout the weekend on Hulu and Disney+ across North America, featuring multiple live performance feeds, artist interviews, and behind-the-scenes content. International audiences can also follow highlights through Lollapalooza’s official YouTube channel and social platforms.

Thursday opens with a packed slate of indie, pop, alternative, electronic, and hip-hop performances. Lorde headlines the T-Mobile Stage following appearances from 5 Seconds of Summer and Sombr. Across the park, the Bud Light Stage closes with house music star John Summit after performances from Empire of the Sun and Blood Orange. Elsewhere, Wet Leg, Little Simz, JPEGMAFIA, Rebecca Black, Alex Warren, and Magdalena Bay help make opening day one of the festival’s most diverse lineups.

The momentum continues throughout the weekend. Friday, July 31 features Charli XCX atop the T-Mobile Stage, while Major Lazer headlines Perry’s Stage following Mustard. Saturday belongs to Olivia Dean and The Neighbourhood, alongside performances from beabadoobee, MUNA, and Leon Thomas. The festival concludes Sunday with Tate McRae, The Smashing Pumpkins, The xx, Jennie, Turnstile, Ethel Cain, Clipse, and Geese closing out the four-day celebration.
