New Music Friday is packed with major releases as July comes to a close, with Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Shaboozey and several other artists set to kick off the weekend with highly anticipated new music.

Ariana Grande leads this week’s lineup with petal, her eighth studio album, arriving July 31 via Babydoll Music and Republic Records. The new album has been one of 2026’s most anticipated releases since its rollout began in April. Its lead single, “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, setting the tone for a new creative era.

Ahead of the release, Ariana Grande described petal as her most adventurous record yet during an interview with Apple Music. “It is very experimental and different for me,” she said. “I wrote from a place that I don’t usually, which was an unfiltered rage.” Throughout the campaign, she has embraced floral imagery symbolizing resilience and transformation while introducing fans to Pepper, the fictional character at the center of the album’s title track.

Cardi B is also back with new music. The Grammy-winning rapper officially releases her new single “AH HA,” marking the first release of her next musical chapter and building momentum toward her highly anticipated third studio album, CB3. The song follows days of teasers, including snippets shared during her trip to the Dominican Republic.

The release arrives as Cardi continues outlining ambitious plans for her next era. Earlier this year, she confirmed that a new album is on the way and revealed that its accompanying world tour is expected to be her biggest yet, promising a larger-scale production after learning from her recent Little Miss Drama Tour.

Country breakout star Shaboozey rounds out the biggest releases with his fourth studio album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales. Released through American Dogwood and EMPIRE, the 20-track project blends country, Americana, hip-hop and folk while featuring an eclectic lineup of collaborators including Jamie Foxx, Teyana Taylor, Sam Elliott, Kehlani, Orville Peck, Leon Bridges and Gunna.

Noteworthy releases also come from Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez & Becky G, Karol G, Slayyyter, Robyn & Zara Larsson, Ellie Goulding, Trippie Redd, Davido, Arca, and more.
