BTS continue to dominate the global streaming market as ARIRANG posts one of the biggest debut weeks in Spotify history. The album opened with 545,441,619 streams in its first seven days, marking the largest debut week of 2026 and the eighth-biggest overall on the platform.

The milestone extends an already record-breaking rollout. Upon release on March 20, 2026, ARIRANG generated 110,005,265 streams on its first day, setting the biggest debut for a K-pop album in Spotify history and the largest single-day total of the year. That figure also ranks as the 12th biggest streaming day ever recorded on the platform.

Momentum throughout the week remained unusually consistent. The lead single “Swim” powered much of the total, accumulating over 82 million streams and anchoring the album’s global performance. Every track from the project charted within the Spotify Global Top 22.

“Body to Body” followed closely behind with 49.7 million streams, landing at No. 2 on the global ranking. “Hooligan” and “FYA” secured No. 4 and No. 5 positions with 39.9 million and 38.4 million streams, respectively, while “Normal” and “Aliens” maintained the album’s upper-tier presence at No. 6 and No. 7. Tracks such as “Like Animals” (34.7 million), “2.0” (34.1 million), and “they don’t know ‘bout us” (32.5 million) continued the dense clustering inside the Top 10.

Lower entries showed minimal drop-off, reinforcing the album’s uniform appeal. “Merry Go Round” reached 32.3 million streams at No. 12, followed by “One More Night” at No. 14 with 28.8 million. “Please” (27.9 million), “Into the Sun” (26.5 million), and “No. 29” (26.4 million) rounded out the Top 22, completing a rare full-album sweep at this scale.

The opening week also sets multiple benchmarks beyond raw volume. ARIRANG delivers the biggest streaming week ever for a K-pop act and for a group, while becoming the largest debut since Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl in October 2025.
