Jennie is marking a defining milestone in her solo career. One year after the release of her debut album, the global star will unveil “Ruby (The Complete Collection)” this Friday, expanding the project that reshaped her artistic identity.

The anniversary edition arrives March 6 at 12 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. KST across all major digital streaming platforms. It adds six tracks to the original body of work, including two fan-favorite remix versions drawn from Jennie’s award show performances and four “Jennie Only Audio” tracks that were previously exclusive to physical editions.

Originally released on March 7, 2025, Ruby marked Jennie’s first solo album following her departure from YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in 2023. Issued through Odd Atelier and Columbia Records, the 15-track set positioned her not simply as a K-pop idol branching out, but as a fully realized solo force. She co-wrote and co-produced the album alongside an eclectic roster of collaborators, including Diplo, El Guincho and Mike Will Made It. Blending pop, hip-hop and R&B with cinematic flourishes, Ruby featured appearances from Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, Dua Lipa and Kali Uchis.

Commercially, the numbers reinforced the narrative. The album sold more than one million copies worldwide and moved over 660,000 units in its first week in South Korea — the highest opening-week sales of the year for a K-pop female solo artist. It debuted in the top ten across 19 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, where it reached No. 3, setting a record for a K-pop female soloist on the UK Albums Chart.

The singles drove sustained momentum. “Mantra” peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Global 200, while “Like Jennie” climbed to No. 5 and became her third No. 1 on the Circle Digital Chart. Each single entered the Billboard Hot 100.
