Drake has added another historic Billboard milestone to a résumé already packed with chart records. The Toronto rapper has officially surpassed Michael Jackson as the artist with the most albums to spend a cumulative 10 years on the Billboard 200, becoming the first act in history to achieve the feat with three separate projects.

Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, and Views have each now logged at least 520 weeks on the Billboard 200, extending Drake’s dominance on the chart across multiple eras of streaming.

Take Care first arrived in November 2011 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 631,000 first-week units. The album later became one of Drake’s defining releases, powered by songs including “Headlines,” “Marvins Room,” and “The Motto.” Its fusion of rap, R&B, and atmospheric production would go on to influence an entire generation of artists throughout the 2010s.

Nothing Was the Same followed in September 2013 and opened with 658,000 units in its first week. Widely considered one of Drake’s most cohesive albums, the project delivered hits like “Started From the Bottom,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” and “Worst Behavior,” while strengthening his crossover dominance globally.

Views completed the trio in 2016, becoming one of the defining blockbuster albums of the streaming era. Fueled by the chart-topping success of “One Dance,” “Hotline Bling,” and “Controlla,” the album spent 13 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The milestone arrives just days before Drake launches his next major era with ICEMAN, his ninth studio album, scheduled for release on May 15. Anticipation around the project has intensified following the rapper’s experimental episodic rollout campaign, which blends cinematic visuals, cryptic teasers, and unreleased music previews.

On May 14, Drake will release “Iceman: Episode 4,” the final installment before the album drops. Previous episodes introduced songs including “Which One” featuring Central Cee, while the campaign’s frozen aesthetic has expanded into real-world activations across Toronto. Earlier this spring, giant ice blocks displaying hidden clues appeared throughout the city, with fans physically uncovering the album’s May 15 release date.
