With The Last Wun, Gunna closes a defining chapter in his career. Released on August 8, the 25-track project is his final album under YSL/300 Entertainment, the label partnership that took him from Atlanta’s underground to global rap stardom. Across its sprawling runtime, Gunna blends trap’s hypnotic rhythms with Afrobeats influences and melodic rap, bringing in heavyweights like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Asake, Offset, and longtime collaborator Nechie.

As the curtain falls on his YSL era, Gunna seems intent on testing both his versatility and his ability to curate a sound that feels global yet rooted in his Atlanta DNA. The album’s rollout, led by the Turbo-produced single “Won’t Stop,” hinted at a confident and polished return.

There’s a strong opening, a satisfying closer, and moments of brilliance scattered throughout — though some of the midsection drifts into filler. Still, when Gunna hits his stride, the results remind listeners why his sound has shaped modern rap over the past decade, with standout tracks such as “Many Nights” and “What They Thinking.” See below for our ranking of all tracks from Gunna’s The Last Wun.
