Taylor Swift is giving fans even more ways to experience “I Knew It, I Knew You.” Just a day after the song shattered streaming records worldwide, Taylor Nation announced the release of two alternate versions of the Toy Story 5 soundtrack standout: an Acoustic Version and a Piano Version.

The surprise expansion arrives amid a massive opening weekend for the track. On June 7, Taylor Nation revealed the new editions through social media, writing: “We knew it, we knew you wanted to hear the Acoustic and Piano versions of ‘I Knew It, I Knew You.’ Each version features unique vocals and production. Download now on iTunes and Amazon Music.”

The rollout continues an extraordinary start for “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Global Chart with 8.777 million streams. The achievement established a new Spotify record for the biggest opening day ever for a soundtrack song.

Released on June 5 through Walt Disney Records, the track serves as the emotional centerpiece of the upcoming Toy Story 5 soundtrack. Inspired by Jessie’s journey throughout the beloved Pixar franchise, the song blends Swift’s country-rooted storytelling with cinematic production crafted alongside longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.

The record-breaking debut also ranks as the 12th-largest opening day on Spotify globally in 2026. Among female artists, only Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drop Dead” and Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” opened with larger first-day streaming totals this year.

Momentum for the release began building almost immediately after launch. Spotify confirmed on June 5 that “I Knew It, I Knew You” had already become the most-streamed country song by a female artist in a single day in the platform’s history. Hours later, Swift expanded the campaign with an official music video made available exclusively to Spotify Premium and Apple Music subscribers.

The singer also reflected on the creative process behind the song in a heartfelt message shared with fans. “Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time,” Swift wrote. “Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once.”
