Lil Uzi Vert makes a triumphant return with their fourth studio album, Eternal Atake 2. Released via Generation Now and Atlantic Records, the album serves as the long-awaited follow-up to their 2020 sophomore project, Eternal Atake. Uzi has teased new material since the release of Pink Tape, initially planning to drop a mixtape titled Barter 16, which they previewed with official artwork. However, the mixtape was later scrapped following a series of leaks, and Uzi pivoted to working on Luv Is Rage 3, a planned sequel to their debut album.
Last week, Uzi surprised fans by officially announcing Eternal Atake 2. Now, with the album in listeners’ hands—and ears—the 16-track release is largely featureless, except for an appearance by Big Time Rush on the track “The Rush.”
