After a six-year hiatus, Linkin Park is back with their eighth studio album, From Zero, a deeply symbolic project marking a new era for the legendary rock band. This is their first release since One More Light (2017) and their first without Chester Bennington, whose voice and presence were foundational to their sound.
Now, Linkin Park introduces two new members to the lineup: Emily Armstrong (formerly of Dead Sara) as lead vocalist and Colin Brittain as drummer. Together, they breathe new life into the group, blending the old with the new while paying homage to Linkin Park’s legacy. The title From Zero holds a poignant dual meaning. It nods to the band’s original name, Xero, while also symbolizing a fresh start—a new beginning for a band that continues to innovate despite its trials. The album’s rollout has been equally compelling, with four singles—“The Emptiness Machine,” “Heavy Is The Crown,” “Over Each Other,” and “Two Faced”—ushering fans into this latest chapter.
