21 Savage is preparing to close out 2025 with one of the year’s most anticipated rap releases. The British-born, Atlanta-raised star is releasing his fourth studio album, What Happened to the Streets?, this Friday, December 12. The reveal came just a few days earlier, on December 8, when Savage posted a stark 30-second teaser on social media. The clip confirmed both the album title and its release date, sparking immediate conversation across social platforms. Pre-save pages on Spotify and Apple Music soon followed, unveiling the artwork and confirming that the record spans 14 tracks.
The announcement caps a year marked by heavy momentum. After releasing his chart-topping 2024 album american dream—which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—Savage spent 2025 in feature mode, contributing standout verses for Lil Baby, Young Nudy, and other frequent collaborators. During a September livestream with DJ Akademiks, he hinted that his next album was nearing completion, stressing that it “gotta be right” before he moved forward.
The album will feature guest appearances from Drake, Lil Baby, Young Nudy, Latto, GloRilla, G Herbo, Metro Boomin, and Jawan Harris. Here is the full tracklist:
