Ariana Grande has officially announced the deluxe edition of her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine. Released on March 8, 2024, the album achieved massive success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 227,000 units and earning over 59 million streams on its first day—setting a record for the most streams in a single day in 2024 at that time. Several songs resonated deeply with fans. The lead single, “Yes, And?,” and the second, “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” both topped the Billboard Hot 100, while tracks like “The Boy Is Mine” and “Supernatural” also received high praise.

Since the release of Eternal Sunshine, Ariana has hinted at more material for this musical era. Speculation about a deluxe edition grew when the 31-year-old pop superstar shared a photo that appeared to be from a music video set. During the 2025 Oscars, Ariana confirmed plans for a deluxe version, advising fans to stay tuned to her social media for more details. Another major clue arrived on the album’s first anniversary, March 7, when she teased a deluxe edition through a cryptic Instagram video on the account “Brighter Days.” The video showed items being burned in a box, leading fans to speculate that Brighter Days might be the title of the expanded release. They were right! Ariana has now announced that Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead will be released on March 28. Along with the announcement, she unveiled the cover art, which features her floating in the air.
For this deluxe edition, Ariana has chosen a color scheme that contrasts with the original version. While Eternal Sunshine embraced a warm-toned aesthetic—reflected in its cover art, the “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” music video, and some of her live performances—Brighter Days Ahead appears to feature a cooler color palette. So far, Ariana hasn’t released any new songs or revealed the tracklist, but it’s already confirmed that the deluxe edition will include six new tracks.
