Beyoncé has just unveiled a trailer for her upcoming concert film, titled “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.” The superstar shared a 2-minute trailer on her social media platforms, accompanying it with a lyric from the song ‘All Up in Your Mind’, “be careful what you ask for, ’cause I just might comply.” This sneak peek offers glimpses of her live performances along with some intriguing behind-the-scenes footage. In the trailer Beyoncé is heard saying: “When I’m performing I’m nothing but free.” The concert film is reportedly being directed and edited by Beyoncé herself, and will feature footage from multiple shows on the tour.
Variety reports that Beyoncé has inked a deal with AMC Theatres to distribute the concert film, with a potential release date of December 1.
The Renaissance Concert Film follows Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which is set to hit theaters worldwide on October 13.
The Renaissance World Tour kicked off in Europe last May and concluded last night with its 56th show in Kansas City. The tour is her highest grossing tour to date, amassing over $460 million in revenue. The tour has been met with critical acclaim, with many praising Beyoncé’s vocals, stage presence, and setlist.
