Bruno Mars appears to have jokingly entered the chat after Drake was seen getting close with Karol G during her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour show in Houston. In a hilarious Instagram post, Bruno wrote, “When you see Drake dancing with your latina crush in 4k. Respond to me asap!! I have to get her back! I must get her back! I will get her back!”
The joke came after Drake made a surprise appearance at Karol G’s September 27 concert at Houston’s Reliant Stadium. The rapper joined her for the live performance of their collaboration “Ahí” before staying onstage for “Janice STFU” and his 2016 hit “One Dance.” Fan footage showed Drake and Karol dancing together, with the pair moving noticeably close as the stadium crowd reacted.

The post showed Bruno Mars wearing sunglasses on a plane while Drake’s “Marvins Room” played in the background.
Whether the post was intended as a full-on joke or simply a playful reaction, the timing made it almost impossible for fans to ignore. Karol has spent much of 2026 at the center of speculation surrounding her chemistry with both artists, while neither Bruno nor Drake has confirmed any romantic relationship with her.
The Bruno-Karol storyline gained momentum last month when the two performed “Still” together for the first time at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Bruno joined Karol during the August 15 show, where they performed the synthwave-inspired power ballad from her album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. The performance also served as the filming location for the song’s official music video.
Bruno Mars later fueled fan speculation by commenting on one of Karol’s posts, “That doesn’t seem like acting to me, Carolina.” He also shared a clip connected to “Still” featuring the line, “When all you want is peace but you’re falling for a Latina,” prompting fans to connect the dots. Karol subsequently shared affectionate promotional photos with Bruno, although the imagery was part of the album campaign rather than confirmation of a relationship.
Drake, meanwhile, has had his own connection with Karol throughout the year. He previously referenced her as “Karolina” on “New Bestie” and appeared on the jumbotron during her Toronto concert in July before eventually joining her onstage in Houston.
Karol’s No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, released through Bichota Records and Interscope Records, features both rappers alongside Bruno, Greg Gonzalez, Judeline and Rusowsky. The 14-track album arrived as her first studio album since 2025’s Tropicoqueta and has made the overlapping collaborations impossible to miss.
