BLACKPINK continues to set the global standard for K-pop success. The four-member girl group made its highly anticipated comeback last Friday with the fresh new single “JUMP,” their first release since their second album, Born Pink, dropped in 2022. On July 11, the song debuted at No. 2 on the Global Spotify chart, earning over 7 million streams—marking one of the biggest streaming debuts of 2025 so far. In the following 24 hours, “JUMP” logged another 6 million streams, rising to No. 1 on Spotify. With this achievement, BLACKPINK becomes the first K-pop group in history to earn three No. 1 hits on the chart.

“JUMP” joins BLACKPINK’s previous global chart-toppers, “Shut Down” and “Pink Venom,” both from their Born Pink era. This latest milestone further solidifies the group’s position as one of K-pop’s most powerful and consistent acts in modern music. On YouTube, the music video secured instant success, earning the biggest debut of 2025 so far and currently racking up 44 million views in just two days.
The success of “JUMP” follows the momentum of BLACKPINK’s Deadline Tour, which began in early July as their first all-stadium tour. Now, JENNIE, JISOO, LISA, and ROSÉ are gearing up to unleash their third album, expected to drop later this year.
