Nicki Minaj may have just hinted at one of the most unexpected pop-rap collaborations of the year. Fans are buzzing after the rap superstar showed love for Sabrina Carpenter’s brand-new album Man’s Best Friend, sparking speculation that the two artists could be working together.
It started when Nicki shared Sabrina’s song “Don’t Worry I’ll Make You Worry” on her Instagram Stories, praising the track and indirectly putting a spotlight on the record. The post was quickly reposted by Sergio Kletnoy, a longtime industry insider, who added fuel to the fire with the caption: “My girls… Collab?” The rumor mill accelerated even more when Sabrina herself reposted the story with the cryptic phrase “Love affair.”

Not long after, Nicki doubled down by reposting the exchange with a playful message: “Don’t worry @sergiokletnoy.” The interaction was enough to send both fanbases into overdrive, with many wondering if the queen of rap and one of pop’s fastest-rising stars are preparing to team up.
The timing couldn’t be more interesting. Nicki is currently building anticipation for her highly awaited sixth studio album (NM6), promising that the project will be a defining moment in her career. In a recent message to fans, she described the upcoming release as something that will reshape expectations: “I don’t think y’all know what’s about to happen when this new album comes out—especially for women who have been powerful and feared [and] who have stood the test of time no matter what.”
Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter has officially released Man’s Best Friend, her seventh studio album. Released via Island Records, the project arrives just a year after her Grammy-winning Short n’ Sweet and has already delivered the chart-topping hit “Manchild.” Co-written with Amy Allen and produced by Jack Antonoff and John Ryan, the track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
