Ella Langley lands a career-defining milestone as Dandelion debuts at No. 1 on this week’s Billboard 200. The sophomore set opens with 169,000 equivalent album units in the U.S., marking her first chart-topper and the biggest week for a female country album in two years.
Momentum for the project had been building for months. Its lead single “Choosin’ Texas” spent six weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
The achievement places Langley in rare company. Only a handful of female country albums have reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 over the past decade, including Now by Shania Twain, Cry Pretty by Carrie Underwood, and multiple Taylor’s Version releases from Taylor Swift—Fearless (TV), Red (TV), and Speak Now (TV). More recent entries include COWBOY CARTER from Beyoncé and Cloud 9 by Megan Moroney.
Elsewhere on the chart, Justin Bieber sees a major rebound as SWAG surges from No. 55 to No. 7 following his Coachella headline performances on April 11 and 18. As reported by, the album earns 43,000 units, up 160% week-over-week. Festival exposure continues to influence the rankings, with Sabrina Carpenter also returning to the top 10 as Man’s Best Friend climbs 18–10 after her own headlining set.
