Florence + The Machine are ready to cast another spell. The band’s highly anticipated sixth studio album, Everybody Scream, arrives tonight, October 31 — perfectly timed for Halloween. Released through Polydor Records, the project follows their acclaimed 2022 album Dance Fever. As fans count down the hours until the release, here’s everything you need to know.

The Path to Everybody Scream
The rollout for Everybody Scream began in July, when Welch teased cryptic imagery on Instagram, hinting at themes of “witchcraft, folk horror, mysticism, magic, poetry, and insanity.” In August, she shared a haunting clip of herself digging a hole in a field before screaming into it. Days later, the title track “Everybody Scream” was unveiled as the album’s lead single. Earlier this week, “Sympathy Magic” was released as the second single.
Across twelve tracks, the album captures Welch’s ongoing exploration of healing, pain, and rebirth. Written in the aftermath of life-saving surgery during the Dance Fever tour, the project reflects her confrontation with the body’s fragility and the emotional aftermath of recovery. Speaking with Zane Lowe, Welch described Everybody Scream as “my most personal record,” inspired by the act of “celebratory screaming” — a way of releasing emotion that is both primal and transcendent.
Musically, Everybody Scream sees Welch collaborating with Idles guitarist Mark Bowen, introducing a grittier edge to the band’s signature mix of baroque pop and gothic grandeur.

Tour
To celebrate the release, Florence + The Machine have also announced a 2026 North American tour — their first major run in nearly three years. Kicking off on April 8 in Minneapolis, the tour will feature support from Rachel Chinouriri, Sofia Isella, CMAT, and Mannequin Pussy on select dates.
