Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have released their first collaborative album, I Said I Love You First. The 14-track project features guest appearances from Gracie Abrams and The Marías, as well as credited songwriters such as Finneas and Charli XCX. However, fans were surprised to discover an unexpected feature from none other than GloRilla.
The Grammy-nominated rapper appears midway through the album, closing the seventh track, “Cowboy,” with the following outro:
“Yeah, n, you know I got this spla / This that boom-shaka-laka, make you wanna smack your mama, you know? / I’ma put that bitch in sports mode and ride it ‘til I can’t no more / Have you wishin’ you was my only hope, you feel me? / I ain’t lazin’ like them other bitches, baby, I fucks back / Them bitches ain’t doin’ nothin’ but layin’ on they motherfuckin’ backs / I don’t even think you can handle this.”

Charli XCX co-wrote “Bluest Flame,” a track Selena herself described as “totally Charli XCX.” Overall, I Said I Love You First takes listeners through the various stages of Selena and Benny’s romantic relationship. With standout tracks like “Sunset Blvd” and “Call Me When You Break Up,” the album has already captured fans’ hearts, propelling it up the streaming charts. For instance, the record has already reached the top 10 on U.S. iTunes.
