Selena and Benny’s professional partnership began in 2015, but their romantic relationship became public in 2023, followed by their engagement in December 2024. The original I Said I Love You First marked Selena Gomez’s return to studio albums after a five-year break, following 2020’s Rare. The album includes 14 tracks centered on themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Songs like “Call Me When You Break Up” with Gracie Abrams and “Ojos Tristes” with The Marías captured fans’ attention, amassing millions of streams. Ahead of the deluxe release, the official music video for the new track “Talk” will premiere tomorrow, May 1, at 9 PM PT, giving fans an early glimpse into the updated visual and musical direction of the project.
