Executive produced by Gaga and Michael Polansky, the cinematic concert film captures a secret, one-night-only show recorded on September 30, 2024, at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles. Performed in front of a tightly controlled audience with phones locked away, the event was designed to feel raw and theatrical.
During the night, Gaga performed her entire 2024 album Harlequin, a jazz-inspired companion project to Joker: Folie à Deux, in which she starred as Harley Quinn. The setlist moved through reimagined standards such as “That’s Life,” “Get Happy,” “Smile,” and “Oh, When the Saints,” alongside original songs including “Happy Mistake” and “Folie à Deux.” Visually, the show embraced a gritty, stripped-back aesthetic, with the stage styled as a worn, apartment-like space.
