The InMusic Awards 2025 are currently unfolding on our Instagram Stories, and the first round of results is now in. Tate McRae is currently leading in two of the major categories—Artist of the Year and Album of the Year—while Zayn and JISOO’s “Eyes Closed” dominated both the Best Collaboration and Best Song of the Month categories.
Notably, winners have already been decided in the Country and Afrobeats categories. Morgan Wallen swept all three Country awards, securing Best Country Artist, Best Country Album for I’m the Problem, and Best Country Song for “What I Want” featuring Tate McRae. Similarly, Tyla dominated the Afrobeats categories with her EP We Wanna Party and the global hit “Chanel.”
First introduced in 2020, the InMusic Awards returned for their sixth year, once again letting fans vote for their favorite albums, songs, and artists across multiple genres, reflecting the most defining releases of the past year. Leading the pack this year is Tate McRae, who earned 10 nominations.
Close behind is Sabrina Carpenter with nine nominations. Notably, in 2024, the “Espresso” hitmaker secured InMusic’s New Artist of the Year honor.
Bad Bunny (8), Taylor Swift (6), and Lady Gaga (6) follow. Other artists with multiple nominations include The Weeknd, Morgan Wallen, and Tyler, The Creator, who are tied at five each. In K-pop, LISA and JENNIE lead the field, earning four nominations apiece.
How to Vote for the 2025 InMusic Awards:
Voting will take place daily on our Instagram stories (@inmusicofficial), with two rounds held for each category. Nominees’ slots will be mixed in each round, allowing fans to vote for multiple favorites. Results will be announced shortly after the final round concludes.
