As anticipation builds for Cardi B’s upcoming album Am I The Drama?, fans are buzzing over a possible surprise: a feature from SZA. The speculation began after SZA posted a cryptic message under Cardi’s announcement post that simply read, “Lemme send this verse chile.” That one line was all it took to send fans into a frenzy, believing she’s teasing a contribution to Cardi’s long-awaited sophomore album.
The timing couldn’t be more fitting. Cardi B officially announced Am I The Drama? just a few hours ago, confirming a September 19 release date. The 23-track project will be her first full-length release since Invasion of Privacy in 2018—a Grammy-winning debut that established her as a chart-topping force in hip-hop.

While Cardi has previously stated the album would not include female rap features, she didn’t say anything about female R&B artists. That detail leaves room for a surprise appearance from someone like SZA.
“SZA X CARDI B OH MY GOD… I DO PT 2 WE NEED IT MOTHERS,” a fan posted on X/Twitter. “Not shocking but SZA is on Cardi’s album,” another shared. Notably, the pair have previously collaborated on three tracks: “I Do,” “No Love (Extended Version),” and “Never Lose Me (Remix).” For now, neither artist has confirmed the collab—but with less than three months to go before the album drops, fans will be watching closely.
