Chappell Roan has announced that Jade Thirlwall will join her as the opening act for two upcoming shows in Scotland later this month. The performances will take place at the Royal Highland Showgrounds in Edinburgh on Tuesday, August 26, and Wednesday, August 27, as part of the Edinburgh Summer Sessions.
The former Little Mix member shared her excitement on X (formerly Twitter), posting: “I’M SUPPORTING CHAPPELL ROAN IN SCOTLAND 😭💖⭐️ Edinburgh, I’ll be seeing you very soon 🏴 ty ily @ChappellRoan 💐”

The Edinburgh concerts are part of Chappell Roan’s busy summer across Europe, which includes performances at major festivals such as Reading, Leeds, Rock en Seine, Sziget, and Way Out West. Following the European run, Chappell will launch her U.S. “Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things” pop-up tour this fall, with multi-night stops in New York City, Kansas City, and Pasadena.
Chappell is still riding high on the success of her latest single, “The Subway”, released on August 1. The track debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Top 200 with 8.3 million streams in 24 hours — the biggest streaming debut of 2025 by a female artist. It also landed at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her highest charting single on the chart. Despite her rising chart dominance, the 2025 Grammy winner has made it clear her sophomore album is not in the works yet, telling Vogue: “The second project doesn’t exist yet… It took me five years to write the first one, and it’s probably going to take at least five to write the next.”
For Jade Thirlwall, the Scottish shows come just weeks before the release of her debut solo album, That’s Showbiz Baby!, arriving September 12, via RCA Records. The 12-track project features collaborations with Mike Sabath, Lostboy, Cirkut, RAYE, and Oscar Görres. Her lead single, “Angel of My Dreams”, became her first UK top 10 hit earlier this year, peaking at No. 7. This October, she’ll embark on That’s Showbiz Baby! – The Tour, playing major venues across the UK and Ireland.
