JENNIE is off to a strong start with Fallen Angel, her new three-track EP released Friday, August 28, through Odd Atelier and Columbia Records. The project has generated more than 4.5 million unfiltered Spotify streams from its three songs while picking up early chart and video milestones across major platforms.
According to Spotify Counter data, “HEAVEN” led the EP’s opening-day performance with 1,601,452 unfiltered streams. “FALLEN ANGEL” followed with 1,507,295, while “Less than a Lover” added another 1,407,396, bringing the project’s combined total to 4,516,143 streams.

The streaming performance also translated to the Spotify Global chart. “HEAVEN” debuted at No. 150 with approximately 1.3 million chart-eligible streams, while “Less than a Lover” re-entered at No. 196 with around 1.2 million.
Fallen Angel has also made an immediate impact on digital sales. The EP debuted at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, becoming the first EP or album by a K-pop soloist to debut at the summit of the chart in 2026. In the United States, the project entered the iTunes Top 15 on release day.
YouTube has provided another major indicator of the EP’s early reach. The “Fallen Angel” music video became the platform’s No. 1 trending music video and surpassed 10 million views shortly after release, following a cinematic visual built around biblical imagery, bonfires, flowers and stark Tim Burton-inspired contrasts.
The response continues a solo run that began with Ruby in March 2025. That album established JENNIE as a major global solo act, and Fallen Angel takes a markedly different musical approach, stripping back the production and placing her vocals and songwriting at the center.
