KATSEYE fans were left heartbroken and angry after the group postponed its Detroit concert at Little Caesars Arena on November 3, with the announcement arriving just 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. The late cancellation sparked an immediate backlash online, particularly from attendees who had already arrived at the venue or traveled to the city for the show.

A viral TikTok video shared by attendee Jessica Guerrero (@jessicaxxguerrero) captured the emotional atmosphere as fans learned that the performance would not go ahead. Wearing glitter on her face and a KATSEYE lanyard, Guerrero filmed herself among the crowds while visibly upset young concertgoers cried nearby.

“We’re in an arena full of crying little girls because Katseye cancelled on us last minute,” Guerrero said in the video. She also pointed out that the other members had already completed the VIP soundcheck earlier that evening, while she learned about the postponement through social media.

The footage quickly became a focal point of the reaction, highlighting the disappointment of younger fans, parents and people who had made special plans around the concert. For some attendees, the show had been a birthday celebration or their first opportunity to see the group live. Others had paid for flights and accommodation to attend.

Frustration also spilled onto X, where fans questioned the timing of the announcement and the inconvenience caused by the postponement. “Cancelling 30 minutes before the show started is so unprofessional. Also, the amount of people who flew out for this, so the whole it’s being rescheduled excuse is not good enough,” one fan wrote.

Another commenter was even more critical, stating: “katseye is the laziest and most unprofessional group I’ve ever seen.”

The popular fan news account @NewsKatseye highlighted the group’s demanding schedule as the cause of repeated health issues and injuries, accusing Geffen Records and HYBE of poor protection, lack of transparency, and issuing only generic PR responses.

Little Caesars Arena subsequently provided additional information for ticket holders. Messages displayed on venue screens confirmed that the concert had been postponed due to illness and instructed attendees already inside to follow staff directions. The venue also asked fans to retain their tickets, confirming that they would remain valid for the rescheduled performance.

“Please hold on to your tickets, as they’ll be valid for the new date once announced. Ticket holders will receive an email with more information shortly,” the arena stated. It also apologized for the disappointment and inconvenience, specifically acknowledging those who had traveled to Detroit.

KATSEYE had initially announced the postponement through Instagram Stories, explaining that Megan Skiendiel was unwell and unable to perform. The group said it wanted to give her the time needed to rest and recover, while apologizing to everyone who had made travel arrangements and looked forward to the concert. No replacement date was announced in the initial statement.

The Detroit performance was part of the Wildworld Tour, KATSEYE’s first arena concert run, supporting their third EP, Wild, released in 2026. The tour’s European and North American legs expanded from an initial 27 dates to 31 following additional shows in London, Elmont, Los Angeles and Mexico City. The group has also announced 11 dates across Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
