Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have just set another streaming benchmark. Their global hit “Die With a Smile” has officially surpassed 3 billion streams on Spotify in only 410 days, making it the fastest song in history to reach the milestone.
The record had briefly belonged to Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather”, which crossed the 3 billion mark in 422 days earlier this month. While Eilish still holds the fastest pace for a solo artist, Gaga and Mars now stand alone as the quickest collaborators to ever hit the number.

Released in 2024, “Die With a Smile” was an instant success, topping charts worldwide and dominating streaming platforms. The single topped official charts in more than 30 countries and reached the top 10 in over 20 others. Beyond streaming, it collected diamond and multi-platinum certifications across major markets, including France, Canada, Australia, and much of Latin America. “Die With a Smile” also crossed over into critical acclaim.
