Lady Gaga has added another historic milestone to her already unmatched streaming legacy. Her 2008 breakthrough hit “Poker Face” has officially surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify, making her the first solo artist in history to have a song exceed 2 billion streams in three different decades. “Poker Face” now joins “Shallow” and “Die with a Smile” in the 2-billion-stream club, giving Gaga a milestone track from the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s.

Released in September 2008 as the second single from her debut album The Fame, “Poker Face” quickly became a cultural phenomenon. The song topped charts in more than 20 countries, including the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, and went on to become the best-selling single worldwide of 2009.

Fast-forward to 2026, and “Poker Face” remains a streaming hit. On January 9, the track ranked No. 173 on Spotify’s daily chart with over 1.29 million streams. Overall, it has spent 324 days on the chart, with a peak position of No. 24.

The achievement arrives alongside another recent major record. Gaga’s latest album Mayhem has surpassed 5 billion streams, making her the first artist ever to have albums from three different decades each cross the 5-billion-stream mark on Spotify.
