In an official statement shared through HxG’s social media channels, the company thanked fans for their support and confirmed that Lexie will no longer continue as a member of SAINT SATINE or as part of HYBE x Geffen’s project. HYBE x Geffen added that it will continue supporting SAINT SATINE’s upcoming plans, while asking fans to remain supportive of the group’s journey toward debut. The decision comes before the group has released any official music, making Lexie’s exit one of the first major lineup changes involving an upcoming global idol project from the company.

Lexie later addressed her departure through Instagram Stories, sharing a personal message about her experience with the project and her relationship with the members. She explained that when she joined Project SAINT SATINE, she believed it was the right opportunity and expressed gratitude toward HYBE x Geffen for the lessons and experiences she gained.

HYBE x Geffen will always have a special place in my heart,” Lexie wrote. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities they’ve given me and the lessons I’ve learned from them. But now we have come to the mutual decision that this is the right time for us to move forward separately.”

The singer also reassured fans that her career is not over, teasing that her future path may look different from what supporters originally expected. “My debut and future might look different than what you expected but stay tuned! I’m not done yet,” she added.

SAINT SATINE was first announced on May 12 as the next major global girl group initiative from HYBE x Geffen, following the international success of KATSEYE. The project was introduced as a continuation of the companies’ hybrid approach, combining HYBE’s idol training system with Western pop influences.

The original lineup featured Emily, Lexie, Samara, and Sakura, with three members connected to the The Debut: Dream Academy survival show that ultimately created KATSEYE. Japanese member Sakura was selected through the survival program World Scout: The Final Piece, giving the group a broader international foundation.

Before her departure, Lexie was viewed as one of SAINT SATINE’s most distinctive members. The Swedish artist, born in Stockholm on August 28, 2004, entered the project with experience as a songwriter and producer, bringing a creative perspective beyond performance. Her previous appearance on Dream Academy also made her a recognizable figure among global fans.
